Jurisdiction baselines

The state of AI regulation in each jurisdiction, today: AI-specific rules, the adjacent regimes that bind AI systems, and what is pending. Click a country for its baseline briefing.
Methodology

The radar covers every relevant AI and data-center measure with 2026 legislative activity across the US Congress, thirteen national parliaments, China's regulators, and the European Commission, fetched from primary sources in eight languages, then translated, classified into a shared category taxonomy, and summarized in English by an AI pipeline.

Each jurisdiction is tracked the way it actually makes rules: bills in the parliaments and the US Congress, regulatory instruments from China's administrative bodies, and Commission initiatives and acts in the EU, each pulled from that jurisdiction's official legislative records.

Every item links to its official source, and titles, summaries, and translations are machine-generated from the official record. Read them as a fast map of the terrain, and click through to the source before you rely on any single item.
